Where it Really Began

For years, I simply put my own health on the back burner, assuming that was the cost of building a successful business.

I was running a 4,000-square-foot facility with my business partner at the time with a full team, juggling clients, managing staff, and pushing to grow the business. From the outside, it probably looked like I had things handled. On the inside, I was burning the candle at both ends. My own workouts became less consistent, my nutrition started to slip, and my energy just wasn’t sustainable.

One sunny morning I went for a run before work. The movement, the fresh air, and the sun… I felt alive, charged up for the day. And in that moment I thought, this is how every day needs to start. Not with a debate about whether I had time to train, but with a clear choice to put myself first.

That’s when it hit me. I had become the very person I was trying to help. A health professional cutting corners on his own health in the name of ambition.

That morning also revealed something bigger. Most of us treat health like another task on an already overflowing to-do list, something we’ll get to once things finally calm down. But the truth is, life never really slows down. There isn’t going to be a perfect time when everything magically opens up.

What I realized is this: health isn’t one more thing on the list. It’s the foundation the entire list is built upon. When we flip that perspective, everything else starts to shift.

That realization was the beginning of PriorityMe.

From Elite Athletes to Elite Professionals

My journey didn’t start there. For over a decade, my world was elite performance.

It began with a fascination for the human body, leading me to a degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University. I wanted to know the science behind peak performance. But training wasn’t enough; I wanted to understand the whole picture—injury, recovery, and resilience. So I became a certified Athletic Therapist at Sheridan College.

This unique combination of disciplines opened doors to the highest levels of sport. For 10 years, I was a Strength & Conditioning Coach with Hockey Canada, helping national-level athletes prepare for the world stage. I worked with the Toronto Blue Jays, learning how the best in the world optimize their bodies for the demands of a grueling season.

I trained elite athletes, both one-on-one and with teams, and learned a lot from the experience. What became clear is that performance isn’t just about the reps and the load in the gym, or even the nutrition plan. It’s about the daily habits that shape us. The small, consistent choices that build not only elite performers, but better human beings.

The Missing Piece

Here’s what I discovered: the principles that help a professional athlete win a championship are the exact same principles that help a busy professional win their day.

The problem is, no one was translating them. No one was building a system designed for the person whose “game day” is a high-stakes meeting, a critical project deadline, or simply having the energy to be present with their family after a long day.

I created PriorityMe to bridge that gap. I took everything I learned from the world of elite sports and rebuilt it for the demanding lives of entrepreneurs, executives, and busy professionals.

My mission is simple: to help you make your health a non-negotiable asset, not a nagging liability. We do this by seamlessly integrating powerful habits into your day, so you can get in incredible shape, reclaim your energy, and build a more fulfilling life…not in spite of your busy schedule, but because of it.

You don't need more hours in the day. You need more energy in your hours.

Let’s build that, together.
